The cold-front that finally made its way into DFW last night reminds us it’s time to start getting ready for Thanksgiving – which is just around the corner! With that, here’s your Thanksgiving guide to getting’ your eatin’ on without the cruelty – please let us know if we’ve missed anything and we’ll continue to update this page as we get more info.
Holiday meals to-go

This year, we give thanks for Good Karma Kitchen, the newest veg-truck to hit DFW. They’re offering gluten-free vegetarian* Thanksgiving meal options including:
Sides: Broccoli Rice Casserole, Green Bean Casserole, Savory Cherry and Herb Stuffing, Brown or Country Gravy
Fresh Cranberry and Blood Orange Relish
Desserts: Individual Chocolate Dream Cakes, Mile High Chocolate Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Lemon Bars, Macaroons

Join Denton Vegan Cooperative at 6:00 p.m. at the Denton Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (1111 Cordell St.) for a Thanksgiving Soup Kitchen – with plenty to eat, entertainment, and prizes.
Join Kalachandji’s for their annual Thanksgiving dinner, with seating hours for lunch (11:30-3:00) and dinner (5:30-9:00) for $15.95 per person. Traditional menu items include Tofu-turkey & dressing, candied yams, cranberry sauce, as well as other Kalachandji’s favorites.
